Bar-on EQi - Emotional Intelligence Profiling

MHS’ Emotional Quotient Inventory® (EQ-i 2.0®) is one of the world’s most widely used emotional intelligence tests, with over 25 years of research and experience behind it. Emotional intelligence skills are critical for building relationships and teams, resolving conflict, solving problems, leading effectively, and building resilience.

The EQ-i 2.0 provides you with a detailed assessment of areas of strength and potential areas for development set against a norm population of UK and Ireland leaders.

The assessment will provide you with a comprehensive report describing how your emotional quotient (EQ) competencies work together and also suggests strategies for bringing EQ competencies into balance for greater effectiveness overall.

The Emotional Quotient 360 (EQ 360) allows you as a leader to receive feedback from your peers, direct reports, and others on how you use your emotional intelligence.

In particular it uses a leadership lens to help you understand how others see you in your role as a leader.

The key features of this report are:

  • it highlights blind spots, allied strengths, and developmental opportunities

  • it notes where raters agreed with your own assessment and where they did not, for further discussion with me

  • raters are provided with anonymity within their own group of peers / direct reports etc

How it works:

You (and those giving feedback for the EQi360) will complete an on-line self-assessment individually. Once all responses are submitted I will be able to pull together your report and share the findings and what they mean for you. From here we will create a development plan.
